Our Intensive Directing Program provides a strong foundation in the art, craft, and workflow of film directing. Students explore the full directing process—from visual style and story structure to shot design, production design, actor direction, and working effectively with a crew.
The course centers on producing 3 to 5 short films, each increasing in complexity. Weekly screenings with instructors and peers offer structured feedback and ongoing development.
The first four weeks combine focused classroom sessions (Mon–Wed) with practical weekend shoots. Week four is dedicated to completing and screening the final project.
The second four-week phase, Intensive On-Set Training, is fully practical. Students direct two professional short film productions, gaining real-world on-set experience.
This program is designed to help emerging filmmakers build confidence, technical skill, and a clear directorial voice.
